Nylock Nuts | Imperial
The thread cuts trough the nylon insert and locks the fastener into place preventing loosening from vibration. Often referred to as Nylon-insert lock nuts, polymer-insert lock nuts or elastic stop nuts. The nylon colar prevents loosening. The inconvenient is that it can only be installed once.
